To call halflings small humans would be a mistake. Though they resemble humans superficially, a number of qualities set them apart. For one, halflings stand 3 feet tall, plus or minus a few inches, and most weigh between 30 and 40 pounds. Halflings have three fingers and a thumb on each hand and four toes on each foot. They have large, pointed ears that lack lobes, with tufts of fur growing from the tips.
